Why UCI?

The community that our program serves is diverse and underrepresented, the kind of population that I want to serve my whole career. I also appreciate the presence of OB practicing family physicians because I aspire to be able to do the same in the future. While going through a virtual interview season, the UCI faculty and residents were the most approachable and genuine people I met, and having a healthy, supportive working environment was especially important to me. After arriving at the program all of these things have held true, and I'm so excited to be here for the next 3 years!

Medical Interests:

Adolescent health, women's health, reproductive health, preventative medicine, design in health

Hobbies:

Hiking, camping, going to zoos, running, testing out my driving skills overseas, reading.

Fun Facts:

I love listening to podcasts, my favorites are On Being, By The Book, and The Tim Ferris Show.

Future Plans:

At the moment, I want to practice full-spectrum medicine and open a postpartum care facility to improve health outcomes for the most at-risk/underserved populations!
